Overview

What this system does

CXO Insights is an executive-facing GenAI analytics experience for turning broad business context into structured insight. The system is designed around synthesis, prioritization, and narrative clarity rather than raw model output.

The product problem is different from a chat assistant. Leadership workflows need fast scanning, defensible framing, and a way to move from high-level themes into supporting context without losing nuance.

Contribution

My role in the build

The parts of the system where my ownership and design work mattered most.

01

Built as part of a team at Genpact, contributing to how executive-facing GenAI experiences should be structured for decision support.

02

Focused on the information architecture of generated insights: themes, summaries, narrative layers, and evidence-backed framing.

03

Helped shape the experience around clarity, scannability, and trust so generated output could support leadership workflows.

Architecture decisions

Design choices that made the system easier to reason about

Decision 01

Structure insights as layers

The experience avoids one flat summary and instead organizes output into themes, narratives, and supporting context.

Decision 02

Design for executive scanning

Content is shaped for quick prioritization, context switching, and clear next questions rather than long-form model prose.

Decision 03

Keep synthesis defensible

Insight generation is framed around evidence and traceable business context so summaries do not feel detached from source material.

Decision 04

Support decision loops

The system is designed so executive questions can feed the next pass of prioritization and synthesis.

Reliability

How trust was designed into the workflow

Evidence-aware synthesis patterns to reduce generic or unsupported summaries.

Narrative structure that makes assumptions and prioritization easier to inspect.

Separation between theme extraction, narrative generation, and executive presentation.

Decision-support UX that encourages follow-up exploration instead of treating the first response as final.

Workflow behavior

How the system moves from input to output

01

Business signals are collected from relevant input sources.

02

The insight pipeline normalizes and stages the context for synthesis.

03

Theme extraction identifies recurring patterns, priorities, and weak signals.

04

Narrative generation converts those themes into executive-ready framing.

05

The CXO surface presents insight layers and feeds follow-up questions back into the decision loop.

Next improvements

What I would strengthen next

Add clearer evidence trails for every generated executive insight.

Introduce stronger quality checks for unsupported or overly generic synthesis.

Create role-specific views for different leadership personas and decision contexts.
